How to Convert Speech to Text

Begin by choosing the speech you want to transcribe. You have various options: you can upload a local file, access a file from cloud storage (Google Drive or Dropbox), use an internet file via URL, or even record a speech using the 360Converter online recorder. For cloud storage files, make sure to log in first before selecting the desired file.

Specify the Language in the Speech

Indicate the language spoken in the audio/speech to ensure accurate transcription. In case you accidentally choose the wrong language, rest assured that our engine will still attempt to transcribe the content. However, the resulting transcript may be irrelevant if the language setting does not match the actual content.

Indicate the Segment of the Speech

Set the start and end times for the specific segment of the speech you wish to transcribe. Ensure that the end time specified does not exceed the total length of the speech. As a paid customer of 360Converter, you have the privilege to transcribe the entire speech file.

Obtain Your Transcript

The transcript will be progressively displayed on the screen as the transcription process continues. Once the transcription is complete, you have multiple options: you can directly copy the transcript to any desired location, have it sent to your email, or download it in various file formats such as TXT, DOC, PDF, and SRT. Additionally, you can listen to the recognized words online and view timestamps by hovering your mouse over each word.
